My name is Aileen Gray and I'm a junior at Washington College, in Chestertown, Maryland. This semester I am leaving the country to spend four months at the University College Cork in Ireland.
At home, I'm an avid reader and writer and spend much of my free time working on theatrical productions. While here in Cork, I plan to spend most of my free time traveling and absorbing the Irish culture. I also plan to move beyond my usual studies as an English major to learn more about Irish history and folklore. During my first month in Cork, I will complete an early semester course in Archaeology to learn about the history and origins of Ireland while studying a subject I've never studied before.
I'll be blogging frequently to keep friends and family up-to-date on my Irish Adventures, so check back often.
